Press Release Regarding the Suicide Attack Perpetrated in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan

We have learned with great sorrow that according to initial reports, 12 security personnel lost their lives and dozens were injured in a suicide attack perpetrated against a personnel bus in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan on 11 April.
We condemn this terrorist attack in the strongest terms, wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, hope for a speedy recovery to the wounded and convey our condolences to the families of the deceased, to the Government and brotherly people of Afghanistan.
We believe that those who intend dragging Afghanistan into instability will not achieve their objectives, and on this occasion, we reiterate once again our support to the Government of Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism and solidarity with the brotherly Afghan people.
